How to reduce weight in 10 days

Do you think you would be patient for next 6 months to shed that extra fat doing dieting, yoga etc?  If you want to avoid those long sessions of weight loss then follow the simple tips  enjoy weight loss in just 10 days.

To get started, here are a few things you ‘must’ have to follow to lose weight by the 10th day.

  • lots of water,
  • fruit juice
  • fresh fruits and vegetables

  • low-fat foods
  • fish/meat
  • flight of stairs/treadmill
Things to be followed everyday:
  1. Moderate exercise: Wake up early in the morning, freshen up and go for a 15 minutes’ walk in the park. Increase the duration with each passing day. Walking shortly after lunch and dinner will also help you lose weight.
  2. Drink lots of water: Make sure you drink enough water in accordance with your weight. For instance, if your body weight is 120lb divide it by 2 and drink as many ounces of water as the result, every day. In this case, it is 60 ounces.
  3. Sleep on time: Avoid staying up late as you must at least get 8 hours sleep for yourself and be fresh the following day. Also, eat two hours before heading to the bed.

Day by Day Schedule to lose weight in 10 days:

Day 1: Fresh Fruits
Eat fresh fruits with a high level of anti-oxidants such as lemon, oranges, etc. The meals and snacks must strictly comprise fruits, as these contain more of water, essential nutrients and less of fat. To make low-calorie snacks out of fruits, you could prepare smoothies with low-fat yogurt and lots of fresh fruits. Pour in a glass of banana or apple smoothie to gratify hunger for a long time.

Day 2 and 3: Go Veggies!
Eat only vegetables on day 2 and 3. Some healthful vegetables that will help you in your efforts to lose weight in 10 days include broccoli, spinach, eggplant, etc. A cup of chopped vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers, leafy greens and bell peppers can substitute fatty snacks and thereby help you lose weight.

Day 4 and 5: Go for Mix and Match Diet!
Add two glasses of milk (once in the morning and once in the evening) to your vegetables-rich diet. For snacks, you may have a platter of steel-cut oats, pearled barley, long-grain brown rice, whole wheat bread, etc.

Day 6 and 7: A Plateful of Healthful Diet
Along with the vegetables, you may have low fat yoghurt, one egg, beans, 2 plates each of 250gms of high pasta along with tomato sauce and fruit juice. A cup serving of fibre-rich fruits, such as barley, raspberries, pears and whole wheat pasta can help cut hunger between meals. Fibre makes one feel full quickly, helping one lose weight.

Day 8 and 9: Eat Light!
Drink vegetable soup along with two slices of any type of fish, preferably one that is low in fat. If you must eat soup outdoors, make sure it is not processed as they are filled with calories.

Day 10: Did you follow it?
Make sure you did all that is mentioned above and if you didn’t, gear-up for the following ten days.

Testosterone the key to your health

Low Testosterone affects all- Health, Mood, and Sex. Testosterone is the male sex hormone, it is also produced in females in little amount. It does play a large role in male sexuality and reproduction, impacting such factors as sexual and reproductive function, muscle mass, and hair growth, but also has some less flashy but equally important, roles like maintaining bone density, levels of red blood cells and a sense of well-being. So it is very important hormone for your sex drive, energy level, enthusiasm, to avoid obesity, diabetes, bone strength, muscular strength and overall health. Testosterone deficiency is connected to insulin resistance, obesity, and diabetes. Each of these problems increases cardiovascular risk. Men with diabetes and low testosterone also have higher rates of atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries. A certain amount of testosterone may be necessary for healthy arteries because it’s converted into estrogen, which protects arteries from damage
If youre experiencing any of the following symptoms, especially if you are overweight and have type 2 diabetes, you may have low testosterone
• Sexual problems. Low testosterone can cause you to have a low sex drive and trouble maintaining an erection. According to the American Diabetes Association (ADA), about 70 percent of men with low testosterone levels report erectile dysfunction and 63 percent report diminished sex drive.
• Energy problems. You may feel tired and find yourself falling asleep early in the evening.
• Strength problems. You may notice a decrease in your muscle mass, endurance, or performance at work or in sports.
• Emotional problems. Ask yourself if you feel abnormally sad or have lost interest in life.
If you recognize these symptoms, ask your doctor to check your testosterone level with a simple blood test.
How to boost your Testosterone level naturally?
1. Lose Weight
2. High-Intensity Exercise like Peak Fitness (Especially Combined with Intermittent Fasting)
Heres a summary of what a typical high-intensity Peak Fitness routine might look like:
• Warm up for three minutes
• Exercise as hard and fast as you can for 30 seconds. You should feel like you couldnt possibly go on another few seconds
• Recover at a slow to moderate pace for 90 seconds
• Repeat the high intensity exercise and recovery 7 more times
As you can see, the entire workout is only 20 minutes.
3. Consume Plenty of Zinc
Its estimated that up to 45 percent of adults over the age of 60 may have lower than recommended zinc intakes; even when dietary supplements were added in. It can be difficult to obtain enough dietary zinc, largely because of conventional farming methods that rely heavily on chemical fertilizers and pesticides. These chemicals deplete the soil of nutrients ... nutrients like zinc that must be absorbed by plants in order to be passed on to you.
If you decide to use a zinc supplement, stick to a dosage of less than 40 mg a day, as this is the recommended adult upper limit. Taking too much zinc can interfere with your bodys ability to absorb other minerals, especially copper, and may cause nausea as a side effect.
4. Strength Training
In addition to Peak Fitness, strength training is also known to boost testosterone levels, provided you are doing so intensely enough
5. Optimize Your Vitamin D Levels
Vitamin D, a steroid hormone, is essential for the healthy development of the nucleus of the sperm cell, and helps maintain semen quality and sperm count. Vitamin D also increases levels of testosterone, Vitamin D deficiency is currently at epidemic proportions largely because people do not spend enough time in the sun to facilitate this important process of vitamin D production.
A few years back, the recommended level was between 40 to 60 nanograms per milliliter (ng/ml), but more recently the optimal vitamin D level has been raised to 50-70 ng/ml.
6. Reduce Stress
When you’re under a lot of stress, your body releases high levels of the stress hormone cortisol. This hormone actuallyblocks the effects of testosterone,
7. Limit or Eliminate Sugar from Your Diet
Testosterone levels decrease after you eat sugar, which is likely because the sugar leads to a high insulin level, another factor leading to low testosterone.7
8. Eat Healthy Fats
By healthy, this means not only mon- and polyunsaturated fats, like that found in avocadoes and nuts, but also saturated, as these are essential for building testosterone. Research shows that a diet with less than 40 percent of energy as fat (and that mainly from animal sources, i.e. saturated) lead to a decrease in testosterone levels.
9. Boost Your Intake of Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) from Foods Like Whey Protein
youll find the highest concentrations of BCAAs like leucine in dairy products – especially quality cheeses and whey protein.

Will power will not work to stop overeating

It is a new year and people will once again try to stop overeating by using will power. This is the method that the majority of people choose and it is also the method that fails you. There is a good scientific reason why this method has been the greatest failure in the weight loss industry. We will explain why will power will never work to stop overeating. Dieting by telling yourself you are going to change is a losing method yet people try it every year.

I think I can...I think I can...

The “I think I can” method was made famous by the childrens book “The little train engine that could”. The little train convinces himself that he can make it up a very steep hill and after many attempts he makes it up the hill. He kept telling himself, “I think I can”. This is the same approach that people take at the beginning of a new year. They try to convince themselves that they are going to do things differently and lose the excess weight. There is a very good reason that this approach fails every year. The brain: The brain likes repetition, the more we do a thing the brain becomes accustom to it and it is almost impossible to change. Will power to combat overeating is no match for a brain that has become accustom to a Big Mac every night.

Resolutions do not work

Resolution is from the word “resolve” or “I have decided I am going to” In other words, I am going to stop eating the doughnuts, this does not change a brain that has been hardwired for doughnuts.

This is not to say that a person cannot lose weight. You can but not by using willpower to stop overeating. Science has shown that the fastest way to lose weight is by people with or without diabetes to use a diabetic diet. This was shown in Europe. Why did this work? It worked because there was no resolution to lose weight but there were foods that healed the body of processed foods and the weight comes off. This is why this is the best diabetes and weight loss site on the web. Forget will power and resolutions to combat overeating they do not work..

Love fast food Work out hard to avoid obesity!

Fast food nutrition should make up a minimal part of a healthy diet. Fast foods and junk foods are high in fat, sodium and sugar, which can lead to obesity and a range of attendant health problems, including diabetes, heart disease and arthritis.
New Harvard research found that 25 percent of people surveyed underestimated their fast-food intake by at least 500 calories. When the survey was conducted, none of the chains were posting calorie counts on their menus, which included McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, KFC, and Subway. However if you can’t avoid them, can you guess how much exercise youd need to work off the following?
McDonalds Mighty Kids Meal of Double Cheeseburger, French fries, and chocolate milk
This kids meal, which is 840 calories of fast food, would take a solid 4 hours and 3 minutes of Frisbee-playing or two hrs aerobics or two hrs cycling 10 mph to burn it off.

Dominos slice of medium cheese pizza
To burn off just one of the 210-calorie slices, it would take 22 minutes of biking at 12 to 14 miles per hour or 25 minutes aerobics.

Cosi: Bombay Chicken Salad with a tall cafe blend coffee
If you want to work off this 481-calorie meal with moderate intensity sit-ups, youd need to go non-stop for 93 minutes or 1hr 15 minutes of aerobics.

KFCs 3 Crispy Strips with Green Beans and 3-inch Corn on the Cob, and a medium Diet Pepsi

This 475-calorie meal can be worked off with one hr aerobics or playing badminton for 1 hrs and 25 minutes.

(Note: All calculations are based on a 150-pound person. Exercise equivalents are rough estimates; actual results may vary based on weight and intensity.)

How to keep your liver healthy

Liver is located behind the lower right area of your ribs. Weighing in at about three pounds, its the size of a football, but soft and smooth. It is part of the digestive system and is connected to the small intestine by the bile duct. Liver is our internal cleaner. It works to detox the body, helps in regulating fat and balancing our hormones, digestion and circulation. Nearly all the blood that leaves the stomach and intestines passes through the liver for processing. Anything that enters the bloodstream is filtered. But if your liver is overburdened by its more than 500 other essential activities, it can become sluggish and may even diseased or damaged. However liver can function even when up to 75 per cent of it is diseased, and it has the amazing ability to create new liver tissue.
The liver is a chemical "factory," involved in these myriad body functions:
  • It produces clotting factors, blood, proteins, bile, cholesterol and more than a thousand enzymes.
  • It stores the energy from the food you eat to provide fuel for your muscles.
  • It regulates the levels of blood sugar and several hormones in the body.
  • It removes poisons such as drugs and alcohol from the blood.
Common liver problems
Unfortunately, the liver can become damaged without your knowledge. By the time severe complications develop, it may be too late to do anything about them. At that point, your only option may be a liver transplant.
These are early symptoms of liver disease:
  • Pain on the right abdomen, Bitter taste in the mouth
  • Fatigue, Muscle aches, head ache, Forgetfulness, depression, poor concentration
  • Allergies, Bruises that appear easily
These are more advanced complications:
  • Fluid build-up in the abdomen
  • Mental confusion
  • Spontaneous bleeding, bleeding in the stomach or oesophagus
  • Prolonged itching of the skin
  • Yellow discoloration of the skin or eyes, urine, stool, bloody or tar like stool

Cirrhosis
Cirrhosis, or scarring of the liver, is one of the most common liver problems. According to the National Institutes of Health, cirrhosis is the 12th leading cause of death by disease. Cirrhosis is a consequence of chronic liver disease, such as hepatitis or alcohol abuse. Liver disease damages normal liver cells, gradually decreasing the amount of normal liver tissue and limiting its function. Many conditions can lead to cirrhosis, but the most common is drinking alcohol to excess.
Hepatitis
Hepatitis is a common liver problem that can lead to cirrhosis, or scarring, of the liver. Hepatitis is caused by one of five viruses: A, B, C, D and E:
Blocked liver
Indulging in alcohol or junk food may be fun at the time, but it will make your liver work extra hard. All the alcohol, processed foods and toxic chemical residue were exposed to get caught in the liver. When the liver becomes congested it will not filter blood optimally. It can become blocked, fatty or bloated. It will then contribute to high cholesterol and lowered synthesis of nutrients and new cells, compromising your health. This is why many alcoholics have liver failure: the organ is never given time to regenerate.
Liver helpers
Keep your weight under control. If you drink alcohol, do so in moderation. Avoid high doses of medications or prolonged use of medications that can cause liver problems, unless youre under direct supervision by your doctor. To protect yourself from hepatitis B and C, limit the number of sexual partners you have, and always use latex condoms. Dont share razors or toothbrushes.
While the key to a healthy liver is maintaining harmony and balance, there are some foods and supplements that will help the liver do its work better.
"Ginger, most dark green leafy vegetables, beetroot and mint will all help your liver to function well.
Liver cleansers
Carrots: High in beta-carotene, they help regulate blood-sugar levels, while reducing inflammation in the body and are a good energy food.
Milk thistle: Contains an antioxidant that acts as a toxin blocker. Capsules can be taken daily for an extended period to repair the liver.
Black walnuts: Help to eliminate toxins. Finney says it can be taken in powder or capsule form, for 30 days, after which you should give it a rest.
Lemons: Cleanse not only the liver, but also the gallbladder, kidneys, digestive tract and lungs.
Garlic: Helps strengthen and cleanse the blood, while giving the liver and kidneys a spring clean.
Dandelion tea: Dandelion has been used for centuries. It is a blood purifier and antioxidant and is recommended for those with liver complaints.
Beetroot juice: Contains a chemical called betaine that stimulates the liver cells and protects the liver and bile ducts.
Get plenty of sleep: Also have infrared saunas, indulge in lymphatic massages and drink lots of filtered water.
Here are ways to boost your liver function:

1. Drink between eight to ten glasses of pure, filtered water every day.  This is the only way your liver can flush toxins out of your body. Better add half lemon in one glass of water in morning.
2.  Since the liver requires high amounts of vitamins and minerals to perform its many functions, your diet should be high in fruits and vegetables and nutrient-rich foods.
3. Your diet should be free of processed foods, artificial food additives, colours, and preservatives to take the load off your liver.  Additionally, choose to eat a diet low in refined sugar and synthetic sweeteners. Avoid margarine, shortening, commercial oils, animal fat and fried foods
4.  Eat plenty of liver-rebuilding foods, including: garlics, onions, broccoli, carrots, beets, leafy greens, and other green vegetables.
5.  While lying flat on your back, you can gently massage the liver/gallbladder area, which is located along the lower rib area on the right side of your body.  This helps improve circulation to the area.
Always consult your physician prior to making dietary changes or taking nutritional supplements.

How much does lap band surgery cost Why you may not want to do it

If you are wondering how much the lap band cost you may be surprised to know that the surgery has cost many people much more than money. Each year thousands of people come to regret having this very dangerous surgery, the cause for the regret has to do with the serious medical damages that the operation has been having on those who opt for this procedure. For thousands, each year the lap band ends up costing people a lot more than money, the effects of the operation have even been causing death.

Losing your organs to the lap band

Kate was interviewed in Australia, she was always overweight and decided that regardless of the complications she was going to have the weight loss operation, her doctor wisely informed her of the deep complications but she has made up her mind to have the operation and nothing was going to change her mind. Hear is Kate in her own words

In eight months, I lost 52 kilos but had to get my gall bladder removed. According to my surgeon, this was a side-effect of fast weight loss. I rolled with it. Two days after giving birth to our third child I had liver failure. This was another new side-effect of my lap band – I was not receiving all the nutrients I needed to sustain my body or my baby. This is just the tip of the iceberg with this surgery, for many, the complications can be deadly. How much does the lap band cost the body?

The Price on the body

In another case Betty Brown exposed to the world the real dangers of the surgery and this prompted and investigation by the FDA after the death of her little sister. Tami began having trouble shedding weight from her 5-foot-one-inch frame. At the age of 52, she weighed 225 pounds. "The last couple of years she was unhappy because of her size," Brown recalled. " She used to say she wanted to see her feet again." Unfortunately for Tami, she was one of the many who lost more than a kidney or liver to the operation, she lost her life. "She was quite excited. Quite excited," said Brown. "She felt this was going to be a new beginning for her."

Tami was one of 5 people who had died from the surgery in just one clinic alone, there are many more deaths each year. How much does the lap band cost? In terms of money the surgery is well over 5,000 dollars but the risks are not worth it, an insulin resistant diet caused more weight loss than the band.

A 20$ diet beats a $5000 band operation

17 countries and thousands of users have seen an Insulin Resistant diet beat the Lapband, why this works, insulin resistance is the cause of all weight gain and obesity. All weight gain is insulin resistance related, this is the case in people with or without diabetes.

Doctors in Argentina showed that all obesity is caused by insulin resistance, only an insulin resistance diet reverses this, surgery is not needed, surgery is pushed by greed doctors.

"Waist circumference is a predictor of insulin resistance syndrome in children and adolescents and could be included in clinical practice as a simple tool to help identify children at risk, according to Valeria Hirschler, MD, from the Durand Hospital of Buenos Aires and School of Pharmacy and Biochemistry, University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, and colleagues.

The reason your weight is up is due to insulin resistance, even if you have a normal blood sugar.

The FDA has cracked down on the lap-band makers due to the incredible risks of the operation, there is absolutely no need to spend $5000 for this surgery, dont do it. Before spending $5000 dollars and risking your health, an insulin resistance diet reverses the weight in people with or without diabetes.
